I hope the winter season has treated you gently and that Spring is on its way. We are planning several events this coming year, including an earthdog practice in West Virginia on May 11th; a spring match in Denver on June 1st with Scottish Terrier breeder Betty Cooper judging; a fun day in Connecticut on August 18th, and our annual Fall Festival in New York on October 13th and 14th where Dr. Andrew Kramer will be our judge.
Details for these events will be provided via ANTIC, mailings, and on our web site. Or, you may call or e-mail the officers and board members listed on the back page of this newsletter. For those going to Denver, the Flatirons and Evergreen Colorado Kennel Club shows will be held on June 2nd and 3rd (Onofrio, Supt.).
In addition, judges for the Montgomery County Kennel Club show on October 7th have been announced. Joan Church will be the Sweeps judge, and Michele Billings will preside over the regular classes.
On October 8th, the National Earthdog Trials in Crosswicks, NJ, will be hosted by the Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club. Sue Ely is chairperson of this event and Robert and Henrietta Lachman are serving as co-secretaries. Richard Reynolds will judge Junior Earthdog, Judy Todd will judge Senior Earthdog, and JoAnn Frier-Murza will judge Master Earthdog.
We look forward to meeting you and your Norfolks at one, if not more, of these events. We'd love to hear from you and, better still, if you can spare some time to help at an event, your efforts will be greatly appreciated.
Hope to see you soon.
Judith Felton
