Red Pepper Mandy

 Dog with attitude

You beat Sirius home with

That gleam in your eye

As heaven’s shy and scared dogs

Leapt and barked their

Joyful greetings.

And you, in character, were modest

In your reaction and just as sure

That you deserved their praise.

As well you do.
