ANTA notes the passing of Ann Winston, whose Mt. Paul prefix was prominent from 1954-1975. A past secretary and president of the Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club, Ann could often be found sitting ringside, observing the breed, long after she had placed her last Norfolk. Among the dogs she bred and owned were Mt. Paul Anderson, from her first homebred litter, and Ch. Nanfan Naiad who became the first English and American champion drop ear (from the days before separation) and who was the dam of the first Norwich D.E. to win an American Working Terrier Association certificate of gameness.
Her Mt. Paul Rowdy won the 1974 NTC specialty show.
