NEWSFLASH…ANTA MEMBERS SCORED BIG at the Florida Gulf Coast Dachshund Club earthdog tests held at the Greater Ocala Dog Show Grounds in Ocala, Florida, March 4-5.

Sunshine and warmer temps were greatly enjoyed by the northern folks although some of the Florida members broke out hats and mittens for a bit! After helping to dig in the liners we all had positive training sessions that built up the confidences of both dogs and handlers.

Three tests were offered with our Norfolk easily outnumbering any other breed entry as well as earning many qualifying runs. NORFOLKS RULE!

Meeting new ANTA members and talking ‘dog’ with everyone old and new was wonderful. We worked and played hard, ate delicious food and enjoyed the hospitality of the Dachshund Club. Perhaps ANTA may just have to do another event in Florida next year!

Thank you to all who came and supported this event. A more complete write up will be in the June ANTIC.
