It’s a wrap … another great weekend in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State.

ANTA is sponsoring a fun weekend consisting of three AKC earthdog tests July 18 and 19 in Newark Valley, NY. The Finger Lakes Kennel Club has offered these tests for many years and several ANTA members have supported them the past three years as part of our summer activities in NY. Earthdog enthusiastists agree that this is one of the best testing sites in the northeast.

We encourage everyone, experienced or not, to attend. We will offer on-site in-ground training on Friday, July 17th from 1:00-4:00. This is a wonderful opportunity to get your Norfolk primed for the tests.

Plan to spend a weekend relaxing in the shade, chatting with Norfolk owners, enjoying delicious food and, hopefully, running your dogs. Experienced ANTA members will be available for support. We will have canopies in case of rain. ANTA will offer a special prize to all qualifiers.

Bring your dogs, an xpen, a chair, some good stories, and snacks to share. The sponsoring club offers breakfast and lunch on site. Friday night dinner will be at Cortese Restaurant, 117 Robinson St., Binghamton, NY 13904, phone 607-723-6440 and Saturday at Owego’s Park View Restaurant & Pub, 145 Front St., Owego, NY 13827.
