Saturday, July 20 (see earth dog premium for times…usually starts at 8:30)

The Finger Lakes Kennel Club will host two AKC Earthdog Tests in Newark Valley, NY.  ANTA encourages members to enter their Norfolk Terriers that demonstrate the willingness to “get those rats”.  DOGS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE AKC in order to participate.

There will be two Introduction to Quarry, Junior and Senior tests and one Master run on Saturday which would give a wonderful opportunity to see what these dogs can do.  Several ANTA members who have vast experience in earthdog work will be there to support you and your dog in every way.  You can find the premium (information and entry form) at this site: www.borderbrae.com/njbc/tests.html .

You may pre-enter or enter the day of the tests.  Remember to bring AKC registration information for your dog.  The site is shaded but you can bring a canopy in case of rain.  There will be water on site and breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase.  This is as good as it gets for a fabulous day with your Norfolk, doing what he was bred to do…so give it a try!  All are welcome to come and cheer on the Norfolks!!  Questions…contact Peggy Metcalf at nflurries@gmail.com.

Saturday dinner at the Cortland Country Club.

See reservation/menu information on the entry form.
